Military Savings Deposit Program
There are requirments, a quick overview is below. For additional details contact the Veterans Office or check the Town Hall lobby for a printed sheet of facts. Annual interest rate is 10% compounded quarterly.
To be eligible a service member must be receiving Hostile Fire/Imminet Danger Pay (HFP/IDP) and serving in a designated combat zone or in direct support of a combat zone for more than 30 consecutive days or for atleast one (1) dayfor each of three consecutive months. Max deposit during a single deployment is $10.000 of their unallotted pay.
